These lights are bright. I turned them on accidentally & blinded myself immediately. Saw spots for 10 minutes. I bought these for my mountain bike & they are great. They function well except for turning them on & off. I bought the 4 pack, when turning on, sometimes only 1 or 2 turn on. Must press power button several times for on or off mode, it helps to aim the remote directly at the lights. Great color selection & mode selection as well. I haven’t tried using them as head lights, I don’t think they would function great as headlights. They definitely attract the eyes. Great value so far, will determine better after learning how long the batteries last. So far I haven’t needed to charge them, I bike every other night, but only 2 to 5 miles. It’s been 2 weeks. I used the rubber bands & they work fine so far. Time will tell. I recommend these for anyone riding a bicycle at night. Great safety function.
